The Syracuse Mets Launch Meticulously Clean Program
A new kind of year for baseball.
In 2020 the Triple-A baseball season was cancelled. Unfortunately, for much of 2020, everything at NBT Bank Stadium sat undisturbed. A beautiful Syracuse summer came and went and not so much as a single piece of popcorn was popped.
When it came to 2021, Jason Smorol, the GM of the Syracuse Mets was not going to let anything disrupt the team and fan experience. On the back of a $25 million stadium renovation, the Syracuse Mets wanted to go even further for team, staff and fan safety. They enlisted numerous professionals to equip the stadium including HealthWay Family of Brands for their indoor air quality challenges.

Jason Smorol, the GM of the Syracuse Mets reached out to trusted contact Vinny Lobdell to help him learn more about air purification and the benefits of implementing a true indoor air quality solution throughout the park.
After surveying the space Vinny Lobdell, President of HealthWay Family of Brands, recommended various solutions across the facilities. Air purifiers were strategically installed and placed following best practices for each individual room or space. The solution recommended by Lobdell included coverage for locker rooms, offices, suites, and common spaces to help protect players, staff, and fans.
